How interesting: Palmetto State Armory has put up a video of how to install a handguard... after they voided my warranty for "modifying" my PA10 rifle... by installing a new handguard. Of course, my PA10 needed warranty work because there were too many burrs in the chamber to even feed ammunition, but that didn't seem to matter.I have a new Smoke Composites 15" Handguard for a AR-10 DPMS platform. It was never installed on my rifle, I ultimately decided to special order one from them a little longer for my application. Smoke Composites does excellent work, this is a very nice piece. Barrel nut and screws are included. Please see the below link for exact weight etc.Cons: Slightly more expensive, it's composite and delamination might be an issue in the future, aluminum barrel nut. My observations so far. Only time will tell with the smoke composites handguard in relation to possible delamination. Based on reviews they can take a beating.
